Isabella murphy
Graduation: May 2025
Hometown: Farmersville, Ilinois
About: I'm currently a senior majoring in Animal Sciences with an emphasis in pre-veterinary studies at the University of Missouri. I grew up on my family's row crop farm in central Illinois, where in addition, we've been breeding Belgian draft horses and mules for over four decades. This rural agricultural upbringing has significantly shaped my desire to pursue a career within the field of veterinary medicine. After graduation, I hope to attend veterinary school and become a large animal veterinarian. I am currently working as an undergraduate researcher, assisting with a sow immunity project exploring the exposure of Lipopolysaccharides in late-term gestation. Beyond the classroom, I am actively involved in Kappa Alpha Theta, where I currently serve as Vice President Panhellenic. This role allows me to contribute not only to the sorority but also to local community initiatives.. Through my sorority involvement, I've developed valuable leadership and teamwork skills that I am eager to bring to my academic pursuits and future career.

Graduation: May 2027
Hometown: Great Falls, Virginia
About: I am a Sophomore Animal Sciences major at Mizzou, and I am currently on the Pre-Veterinary track. I am interested in Swine reproduction and nutrition and hope to do research in those fields someday. My goal in the lab is to gain more experience in research, and one day I hope to go to veterinary school. In the lab, I mostly assist with the research conducted by the Ph.D./Grad students by weighing samples and anything else they may need help with. A fun fact about me is I'm on Mizzou's Club Gymnastics team and have been a competitive gymnast for 11 years!

Seth hansen
Graduation: May 2025
Hometown: Chillicothe, MO
About: Seth is a senior in Animal Sciences with a minor in Agribusiness Management. Growing up on a small hobby farm in a supportive rural community made him realize two things: 1. Community support should not be taken for granted, and 2. Animal agriculture is a necessity for American society. He wanted to put these two items together through veterinary medicine which led him to the University of Missouri. Seth has specific interests in small ruminants and reproductive management. He plans to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mizzou following completion of his undergraduate coursework and return to a rural Missouri community to practice.
At college, Seth is involved in the Pre-Vet Club and Mizzou Block and Bridle, where he has held multiple officer positions. Seth is a previous state officer for both the Missouri FFA Association and Missouri 4-H Organization. His involvement led him to facilitating workshops to over 4,000 members and giving speeches in front of crowds of up to 9,300 attendees.
In his free time, Seth enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, listening to music, and playing sports
